Flight
This piece reminds me of the beautiful wings of a bird in flight or the wings of an angel ready to take off into the wild blue yonder, swirling around and playing in the clouds.
I love creating
I love tiny beads!!!
I love bringing life to the pieces that develop as I go along.
I never really know what I'm creating until the piece is finished.  That's why all my pieces end up as one of a kind.

So excited for the 8th Bead Soup Blog Party. Hosted by the famous Lori Anderson, founder and author of The Bead Soup Blog Party.  This is so much fun, getting acquainted with other bead artists and bead designers from around the globe.  We are partnered up with another artist, and not necessarily put with an artist that uses the same materials. The hope is that by swapping a Bead Soup made up of a focal, an interesting clasp and a variety of beads and or findings.  Each artist will be challenged to work out of their comfort zone.  And design a piece using most of the soup and a mix of some of your own personal stash.  The results are to much for mere words!!!  No one is allowed to reveal their design until a chosen reveal date, and on that day all participants are encouraged to visit as many of the blogs as possible. This is an amazing way to connect with other artists, to friend others that are also as crazy as you are when it comes to the love of beautiful hand created one of a kind jewelry.  It's amazing to see what another eye beholds with the beads and baubles you send them.

Hey Everyone, if anyone might even get this, I'm so out of the loop with this blog thing, and I probably need to just get on line and order Lori Anderson's book. On the Bead Soup Blog Hop, but that would be way tooooooo easy.  Or just not what I can do right now.  So I'm hoping my friends from past Blog Hops and from being beady related because we are bonded together by our obsessive love for beads and buttons and tools and findings, and crystals, and seed beads and more beads and even more beads!!! You know exactly what I mean.  My Dad was a fishermen, and he had every lour, hook, line, sinker, you name it he had it.  Well the apple didn't fall very far from the tree.  Same with my mother she had fabric, she had yarn, she had thread, she had paints. Oh sorry now I'm babbling.  Artist and crafters know what I mean! Right???

I'm getting prepared and excited about meeting my new Bead Soup Blog Hop Partner.  This is so exciting to me, it's been a few years since I have been able to participate.  But for great reasons.  I was able to take care of my aging Mom with Alzheimer's and dementia.  She helped me to realize so much about myself, and I feel like I have so many opportunities a head of me.  My Mom left us on January 10, 2014. So my loss is still fresh, Yet so bitter sweet.

At this point I want to try so many new things, like designing more, teaching more, traveling more. Whatever life holds for me I'm game.

Hope to gain some new friends here,
be blessed, CJ

Hi New Blog, CJ

Have no idea what happened to my original blog, guess I must of posted something controversial!!!  Sorry, for those I need to be sorry to and to others who understand that an Artists mind isn't stuffed into a box or a book or into things that shatter!!! My mind is everywhere doing many things at once, working to remember the important things of the day. Who's voice do I need today to make my smile a little brighter??? Do I need to scream and shout to get my point across??? Or do we get each other so well?? That all we ever say to one another is I know! I know! I know!!! I know the plans I have for you says the Lord! I am excited for the plans that are about to fly away out of my hands. To a greater place, to a special place, to a magical place, where no one can steal from your dreams.

To all who visit this blog, I hope you will realize I'm just what I am, one of a kind, there is not another me around.  My claim over my art is also one of a kind. No repeats, no duplications with respect to me as an artist. Exceptions are for Weddings, and family keepsakes, for loss of loved one. (I can and will make those exceptions) Every piece of hand crafted art is hand stitched one or sometimes two beads at a time.  Pieces can take up to several months to complete depending upon the type of work. Such as bead embroidery or bead weaving techniques.

My art can also be found in back issues of Bead and Button Magazine, Bead Trends, Beadwork, also in Creative Beading vol. 5 and vol. 6 from B&B.  To date I have 12 publications, and have been featured in my hometown paper. Supported through my local Chamber of Commerce. Featured Artist at the Croswell Art Gallery in Adrian, Michigan.

Today I've signed up to do one of my very favorite things, and that is to be a part of Lori Anderson's Bead Soup Blog Party.  It's been a few years now, but I'm really looking forward to meeting a new beady friend through this fun and creative bead swap.

Hope I can meet new friends, get back acquainted with some from days gone by, and somehow be here to do life with you all.

Have a beady great day!!! CJ
